it is relative to how many clicks/turn your encoders have.

Units are in encoder counts. So it is entirely relative to the encoder you are using. If your encoder produces 1000 counts per rotation then your speed is 1 rpm when the encoder speed is 1000 etc...

Distance is relative to the circumference of your wheel and the rpms which you will need to calculate based on your actual hardware as well.

Assuming circumference of 12 inches and an encoder count of 1000 per rotation and a speed of 10000 your distance traveled in 1 second would be 12 * 10000/1000 = 120 inches.
