Logic Battery Pins or Jumper
Logic Battery Pins or Jumper
Subject= Logic Battery Pins or Jumper
Using a RoboClaw 2x7A
Manual refers to Logic Battery Jumper.
One paragraph says “remove the LB-MB jumper if a second battery for logic will be used.”
Another paragraph says “on models without this jumper power source is selected automatically”
Does this mean “without jumper” or does it really mean “without PINS” ??
As shipped/received there are pins labled LB IN but there is no jumper provided.
I do not want to use a separate logic battery.
Do I need to ADD a JUMPER to the pins get logic powered from main input??
Or does it get power from main when no separate power is added to the pins?
E = 2 pins LB IN, no jumper present

Re: Logic Battery Pins or Jumper
Old revision boards had a LB/MB jumper. New revision boards do not(it is handled automatically). If you have an old revision board with LB/MB pins it will be labeled next to the pins on the header.
You have the latest revision which does not have the jumper. Logic battery/Main battery is automatically used for logic depending on the voltage of each input.
