Feature Request

The roboclaw drivers are awesome. I do have a feature request that would make them an interesting addition to the hobby cnc world. I know they already accept a lot of input forms, but one that would be nice would be a step/direction input (like grbl uses). This would allow a dc motor and encoder to be installed in places where a stepper is normally, but a dc motor would be better suited.

We have considered this and it is in our wish list but we only have so much room in the Roboclaw firmware. Other features have priority over this one. We are looking at adding this to MCP which has a much larger firmware memory.

I understand the limited memory issue. Im very glad to hear that it is on the wish list though. I will keep an eye on the firmware updates
