Combining BEC output of multiple RoboClaw 2x7A
Hi,
Is it safe/possible to combine BEC outputs of multiple (2 or 3) RoboClaw 2x7A to get more external 5V current draw capability? E.g. single RoboClaw 2x7A suports up to 1.2 A, can I combine 2 in parallel to supply up to 2.4A?
If not, is there some obvious electronic part that would allow combining BEC power outputs?
I can think of other workarounds like powering USB hub from one RoboClaw and powering the MCU from a different one.
Kind regards

No. That is not somethign you can do. There is no garuntee one BEC wont be slightly higher voltage than the other which would cause one BEC to take more of the load than the other one. If you need 2.4A you will need to use a secondry power regulator circuit that can take the full load.
Powering different devices from different BECs is the best option since it wont require any extra components.
