How to determine QPPS with less than 100% duty.

Hi,

I have a motor and quadrature encoder connected to a ST 2x45A. I would like to run through the velocity calibration procedure, but I won't be able to run the motor at 100% duty (current limitation). I am trying to determine what the QPPS value should be when using less than 100% duty. I think the rest of the steps make sense to me.

Thanks,

Dan K.

Run at X% then multiple the speed by 100 and divide by X. Motor speed is fairly linear relative to voltage. Duty cycle is basically voltage percentage,

For example if you run at 20% power and get a speed of 2000 then the QPPS is approx 10000.
