Re: Max Current no Effect - force control
Hi again, Sorry for the late reply. I have tried multiple boards now. The problem is just always there. Even if in Ion Studio I go to the settings page and enter a "10" for max current and then driving the motor via the positioning tab the current reading easily goes to 35-40 Amps (dependi...

Return on command 52
Hello,
I am trying to use command 52.
(ddress, 52, Duty(2bytes), Acceleration (2Bytes), CRC(2Bytes).
The roboclaw just returns nothing. Is there anything wrong in your manual?
Nearly all other command work exactelly as described.

Max Current no Effect - force control
Hi! Im am using Roboclaw 2x15 IN Ion studio, general setting gives the options to determine a Max Current for each motor. But this value actually seem to have no effect: We are trying to move to a defined position using the position control tab. When the movement is beeing executed and I am trying t...

Thanks

Command for inverting encoder and motor direction
Hi! In IonStudio it is possible to revert (checkbox) the direction of each encoder as well the direction of the motor movement. I was just wondering how to do that via packet serial. Is there a command for that or do you calculate that on ion studio. If yes, could you gave a code snipped? Thanks a l...

PLC Serial Communication
Hey Guys I am trying to control the Roboclaw via codesys PLC on a Raspberry Pi. My general question is if its better to open and close the serial port everytime you send a command to the roboclaw or just keep it open all the time? I think that if you keep it open you might run into problems regardin...

FULL Stop IonStudio
Hi,
What command is best to immediately stop all movements (emergency stop). Like the one you have as a red button in Ion Studio?
Thank you

EPROM broken
Hi, I am trying to store and restore all the settings (duty acceleration, PID settings etc.) to the eprom using advanced packet serial. Like the manual said I am using the command 94 and 95. But different to the manual the roboClaw is not replying by sending 0xFF. Instead it is sending nothing. Am I...

Re: Encoder and Following Error
Hi, Thenks for your response. I got the encoder working using a pull up resistor. But now, after a couple of days working fine I suddenly get a somehow strange behaviour. For some reason the encoder counts are counting up itself rapidly as soon as the roboclaw is under power. when I turn the rotary ...
