The set up is always the same since the last 2 years so far... power supply 48V-10A SDR-480-48 in series with a Chopper to pull down the voltage in case it goes higher than 51V. I was speaking about SetM1Velocity(address, p,i,d,qpps) python method.
it does not work, when I pass not an integer, but a float. For example p=7.2.
Ho can I set by serial port a float (P=7.2) ?

I m using Raspberry 4 and logically have changed also the python code
