Re: Encoder count off with Actobotics encoder
More images are available at the link below if you don't mind taking a look. I hope I've captured something useful. The images may not be in any particular order. http://imgur.com/a/DS0Po Actobotics/ServoCity is basically saying that they see a slight drift with an Arduino, but that the problem is m...

Re: Encoder count off with Actobotics encoder
Just added a another picture as I wasn't sure what is needed to help diagnose this issue.
I did not try removing the cap as suggested as I will be sending these motors back if it's indeed a problem with the encoders.

Re: Encoder count off with Actobotics encoder
Can you take a look at this waveform from this encoder and let me know your thoughts? I'm new to this so not entirely sure how to interpret it.

Encoder count off with Actobotics encoder
I'm using these Actobotics motors with encoders with both 2x7A and 2x15A Roboclaws. --https://www.servocity.com/116-rpm-premium-planetary-gear-motor-w-encoder Direct link to encoder details --https://www.servocity.com/files/index/download/id/1455566016/ The problem is, the encoder count is not match...

Are 2x15A, 2x30A, 2x45A the same except firmware?
From an initial look, it appears that the hardware/design is identical for the models 2x15A, 2x30A, and 2x45A. Is there any difference besides the firmware that allows you to drive bigger loads with the more expensive models? If so, assuming I started with 2x15A boards in my project and later decide...

Re: USB Multi-Unit Capability
Yes. Upto 8 roboclaws can be controled from a single serial connection. From USB you can setup a single Roboclaw as a master(eg a relay point) that will then control the other three boards from its S1/S2 pins. Set the master unit to Relay mode(but not to Multi-unit mode). Set each of the other thre...
