Error/Status codes
HI My Motor control is MCP236. Using the serial command "ReadError" I get the following error code: When the Voltage fo the Battery is low: 524288. When the Voltage fo the Battery is high: 262144. From the user manual on page 75, it should be 0x0400 and 0x0800. Can you explain to me how to...

Re: PWM and Velocity Setting
Thank you very much for your reply. Now it works. I don't see what the measures unit of speed (RPM or pulse per second or per minute), but will try to figure it out. I think is pulse per second. Please confirm it.
Thanks
Fausto

PWM and Velocity Setting
I connected a brushed motor and the encoder with MCP236. The encoder pin enc_A is connected with the pin 14 and enc_B with pin 15 (and the power supply). Also from BasicMicor Motion Studio I can see the encoder value to be incremented or the opposite. When I set the PWM, it goes directly to +100% or...

Re: MCP236 close loop currrent control
Hi Thanks a lot for your mail. I set the inductance and the resistance (L = 0.0020 H and R = 2). In PWM-tab playing with the vertical bar, I can move the motor. Duty is only in read-mode and I cannot write on it. The bar code is really sensitive. There is one way to write it? Now the current limit i...

MCP236 close loop currrent control
Hi I'm new with BasicMicro. I have MCP236 and with the Motion studio, is possible to drive the motion driver in PWM, speed or position control, as far as I understand. Unfortunately, I cannot see current control. There is PWM but it is more "voltage" than current. is it possible to set in ...
