Re: Logic Battery HIGH err when remove RoboClaw USB Connection from PC
How do you have everything wired up? Are you using a separate logic battery? What model of Roboclaw are you using? What is the max logic battery voltage setting on the Roboclaw set to?

Re: 1.7.0 No Comms Baud Rate Above 57600
If you are using the hardware serial port in the arduino, note it does not produce a correct 115200bps. Its actual bit rate has a fairly large error. So you may not be able to run 115200bps with an arduino and your roboclaw. Whether it works or not depends on if the combined error on the two(Robocla...

Re: Roboclaw 2x15A and Pololu motors
The autotuner runs the motors to calculate the approximate QPPS. It is not as accurate as manually doing it since it is limited to a short range of motion for the test. However the QPPS value accuracy is not critical(eg 5% error is ok). The more accurate the better but that much error will not make ...

Re: I think I killed one of myRobclaws
The small chip is the 3.3v regulator and the big chip is a mosfet driver. The area damaged on the mosfet driver is related to the charge pump that generates the gate voltage for the mosfets. I dont see any direct connection between either other than the 5v switching regulator. If it was damaged/fail...

Re: Is this situation a driver fault error?
No, when the 3 LEDs are cycling in sequence like this the board has been told to enter bootloader mode. It will not exit this mode until the firmware has been updated. On boards with older firmware a packet serial command could be sent to cause the board to enter bootloader mode on the TTL pins. On ...

Re: Comments and suggestions
I combined all your posts into a single thread. It seemed your posts were all related(comments and suggestions). It seemed your comments in general ran from a "first out of box" to a "finally read through the manual" range which seemed consistent with combining them in a single t...

Re: using mixed mode commands in packet serial mode
No problem. The compatibility commands are mainly for people coming from a Sabertooth controller that already know how to use those commadns. In general I recommend new users use the higher resolution commands instead.
