Re: Commands 65 and 66 seem hobbled.
I am now running on v4.1.15 and have posted elsewhere on that - Thank you. Every thing seems good and is signed off except commands 65/66 as already noted in this thread. My system does not use a library as such. All my commands are built by a parsing engine that can handle about half of the command...

[Solved] Re: Potential issue with Position Tuning in IONmotion
Ok - thanks for that alteration to include the check box. That is working nicely, and similar result on both motors now. Not sure about the results but that is what tuning is about and I am running bare shaft motors at present while I come to grips with things. I can get the motors running well with...

[Solved] Re: Issue with update v4.1.15 not taking.
Thank you - that version updated well.
The 'on release' tick box is nice now.
Not sure what 'Sync motors' does but only one motor operates at one time!
Did you do some work on graph scaling?
Seems more appropriate sizing somehow.
Thanks

Re: Commands 65 and 66 seem hobbled.
This refers to version v4.1.14 firmware on RoboClaw and IONmotion version to match. Have not managed to use v4.1.15 yet - refer separate thread. I have the Position screen sussed out and I believe motors and controller are setup correctly. Velocity settings PID are 0,0,0 Position PID settings I am p...

[Solved] Issue with update v4.1.15 not taking.
I attempted to update RoboClaw with latest change from my laptop, it appears to do that ok but IONmotion will not then connect to RoboClaw. It tells me that I need to update the firmware. I click on the firmware update button again and the led's roll ok for a few seconds and then stop. I attempt to ...

[Solved] Commands 65, 66, 67 seem hobbled.
I am working on a simple movement command to move motor2 to a predetermined position from a home reset position. Configuration is all finished at this point and the motor was initially moved to 14462 qpps position using command 45 successfully. I wanted to try out command 66 to see if positioning to...

Re: Potential issue with Position Tuning in IONmotion
Ok thanks - Your point 1 -Good to know there is a difference between the two sliders at present - may be able to work with that for now and derive some benefit. Considering both my motors will end up with same or similar values this may work for me. Edit - yes motor 2 gives a much more manageable re...

[Solved] Potential issue with Position Tuning in IONmotion
Was working with IONmotion on my Win 7 Laptop. Decided to do comparative tuning and testing with changes to settings between my motor1 and motor2. Roboclaw 2x15A firmware version 4.1.14 IONmotion 1.6.4 Loaded values from Roboclaw which have been working reasonably well up to now. These values were d...

Re: S4/S5 enable
Ok - i'm back again. Had some major issues with PC- sorted now. Have done work in my system to bed in the homing routines. Seems that Homing functions are working ok now - We can call this thread solved. acidtech-Thread could probably be flagged as solved but first post was not mine to edit. cheers ...
