Limit reading and actions at limit

Post by andyhol » Wed Mar 10, 2021 10:51 pm

Is there somewhere I can find a working Arduino example of how to read the status of the limit switches s4 or s5?
Also is it normal that when moving towards a limit, the roboclaw stops as it should but if I send a command move in the same direction it will start moving again ignoring that the limit is active?

Use the Read Status command. The WARN_S4 and WARN_S5 bits indicate the current state of the limit switch for motor 1 and motor 2.

Do you have the latest firmware installed? What mode do you have the limit switches set to in General Settings?
