Up to date PacketSerial protocol for 4.1.24 ?

Post by Marc »

Hi,

I'm working with a 2x30A RoboClaw controller, and use packetSerial through TTLserial to send command and read parameters.
I pre configure the roboClaw with IonStudio and then the embedded computer send commands.
I wanted to check that some configuration parameters are fine before starting the embedded application and try to move the motors.
The 75 command to get S3/S4/S5 modes return values that are not corresponding to the expected values in the documentation.
I expect to have value "2" for S3 when E-Stop is enabled. I Have 1 instead.
E-Stop Latching is supposed to be '1' but i got 0x81 instead.
I'm able to drive the motors with packet serial so I assume my serial communication is good.
I also have strange read values for P,I,D settings. QPPS is fine.
No problem to read min/max for logic supply and main supply, max motor current.

Do you have an up to date documentation for 4.1.24 firmware with Packet serial ?
Or do I have to revert to an older version to have a matching documentation ?

Thanks

We have a forum post specifically for this command. You can find the information here:

This will be updated in the next manual update but that can take a while.
