Loosing settings after power is cut

In the new Basicmicro Motion Studio, the Save Setting menu item has been renamed to Write Settings. This will write the settings to the non-volatile memory of the Roboclaw. We recently added options to Save and Load to a file so we changed the Save Settings menu item to Write Settings to help prevent confusion.

Note that if you do not Write Settings to the Roboclaw they are only stored in RAM and will be lost when you power the board down.
