I have a RoboClaw 60 amp controller , i have followed the instruction manual for use with Ion studio after changing just one setting to RC mode then save file , turn RoboClaws off then on again, reconnect device to ion studio and nothing has been saved .. Some help would be appreciated ..

First, update your software to Basicmicro Motion Studio. Ion Studio is no longer supported. We changed names in december when the company was consolidated under the parent name, Basicmicro.

Once you have done that, restore defaults on the controller. Set everything up as you want it then go to Device menu and click Write Settings.

Let me know if you are still having trouble. That could mean(though its a very very very low probablility) something is wrong with the eeprom on the microprocessor of your Roboclaw.
