Triggering DOUT

Anyone have luck activating the digital output pins? Is there a supply voltage requirement?

I am trying to use the digital output to operate external pneumatic brakes using a command in a MCL script such as DOUT(0) = 1.

I don't want a certain operational condition to trigger them... I'd like them to pull high via my command with a switch/sensor input.

Any insight is appreciated. The digital out is connected to a voltage regulator powering a relay which in turn is switching a solenoid valve.
