Using Multi-Unit packet serial with RS232 Serial
Using Multi-Unit packet serial with RS232 Serial
Hi everybody
On the User manual, the only use case describing "Multi-Unit Packet Serial Wiring" use TTL Serial.
I would to know if it is possible to use MCP233 in "Multi-Unit Packet Serial Wiring" with RS232 Serial.
And if it's possible, how i have to connect the board (Adding pull-up resistance ? if yes how ?)
Thanks very much.
Pierre

No, it does not. RS232 signalling will not work with Multi-Unit mode because of the way RS232 signal levels work(eg + and - levels).

Ok. Thank you.
