OC1 & OC2 Flags

Post by rantangan »

My controller has been working for quite a while but today it stops working with OC1 & OC2 flags. Nothing has changed with the connection, wiring, electronics, or mechanical.

A damaged RC board?

Thanks

I could be damaged. If the problem is intermittent it could be false overcurrent readings as well. Obviously if something is overheating or has other signs of damage you should use it anymore but if nothing is getting hot you can try adjusting the current blanking percentage for each motor channel. 5.4% is pretty much the bare minimum but some motors may want 7 or 8%(eg they are noisy). Really noisy motors or long wires may need even higher current blanking percentages.

Current blanking sets the minimum duty % before current readings will be used. Below this percent current readings are ignored. The largest percent allowed is 20.
